It's so simple to get started. First visit our pricing page (each test completed uses one test credit) and then select the green Order button for your desired package to complete the order form.  You'll receive instructions shortly after the order is submitted, if ordering during business hours (for current clients, credits are added to testing account). You'll then be able to sign into your account dashboard to start the test sessions (or email sessions to applicants). It's easy peasy!

How are the tests developed?

We work with the top test developers around the world to bring you the most extensive library of tests available. Every test or assessment question (item) has been developed by a Ph.D. or M.A. level industrial organizational psychologist.  Each test undergoes a thorough validation process to ensure that it accurately and consistently measures the desired skill or competency.  Tests are periodically reviewed to ensure relevance to the topic.

How many tests should I administer per candidate?

Most customers administer 2-3 tests per candidate.  The chosen tests are based on the key success factors for the job.  Customers on an extremely tight budget for hiring may only administer one test per candidate, if they have a highly focused need for testing.  Customers that are using the tests as a critical tool of the hiring process may test more than those with a more casual focus.

What does the test taker (the job applicant) need?

The test taker will usually only need an up to date web browser (Chrome, Firefox or Internet Explorer (or Safari)) and an internet connection. Some multiple choice tests (non-simulation) can be taken on a mobile device (smartphone, ipad). Please ask if you have questions. The test taker will not receive the scores unless you share them.

While most testing providers focus on multi-million dollar accounts and the Fortune 500, our target market is medium-sized businesses and smaller, usually less than 500 employees.

Who is not a good match for EmployTest?

-People wanting to test their own skills.  Due to test security, we do not sell (or provide samples) to individuals.
-Companies needing a wide variety of extremely technical tests (.NET, programming languages, etc).
-Companies needing tests for upper management or C-level roles.  Our tests are typically used for entry level through middle management.

How do I get the test results?

The test results are emailed to the test administrator as soon as each test is completed, day or night. The job candidate does not see the score.

How do I email a test session to a job candidate?

For many customers using computer skills or clerical tests, you will click Administer Tests, Manage Etickets, Create Eticket. However, the answer will vary depending on your test platform so consult your instructions or ask our team if you have questions.
